This page is dedicated to Narateen. If you’re a teen and someone important to you is an addict, you can find support in a Narateen group. Narateen is designed for teen Nar-Anon members. If there isn’t a group near you, talk to someone in a Nar-Anon group to ask if they could facilitate a Narateen group.
MWR Narateen Guidelines – Approved at 9th Annual Assembly
If you are interested in starting a Narateen Meeting in your area, please complete the following:
- Review the MWR Narateen Guidelines shown above.
- Review all of the pages in the How to Start a New Meeting section of this website
- Review the Narateen page on the World Services website.
- Obtain a commitment from 2 other individuals that are willing to be Facilitators for your meeting in addition to yourself. Every Narateen Meeting must have 2 Facilitators at every meeting, In addition, there should be a 3rd Facilitator that will act as a backup for the other two.
- Send an email to narateen@naranonmidwest.org for more information and help in starting your group.
